GPTypo is an AI detection scanner for writers. It shows how AI detectors will read your work before anyone else runs it through one, highlights the exact sentences that carry detection risk, and suggests rewrites that keep your meaning and voice.
Why it exists
AI detectors now sit inside hiring pipelines, editorial workflows, classrooms, and client reviews, and they misflag real human writing every day. Formal, polished, and ESL writing is hit hardest. GPTypo is a false positive shield: it keeps honest work from being mistaken for AI.
How it works
Detection you can check up on
Free scans run a transparent heuristic engine that checks 100+ known AI-tell phrases and structural patterns and explains every flag. Paid plans add verified scoring from GPTypo's own neural detection model, independently benchmarked on the public RAID leaderboard: 99.2% accuracy with a 0.5% false positive rate on real human writing.
Features
Pricing
Free plan (500 words per scan). Pro $18/mo or $14/mo billed annually. Team $49/mo or $39/mo billed annually, adding API access and batch scanning. New users who sign in with Google get a free 3-day Pro trial, no credit card required.
GPTypo is independently operated and not owned by any company that sells AI writing tools.

GPTypo's answer
GPTypo works at the sentence level. Most AI detectors return a single verdict for a whole document; GPTypo highlights the exact sentences that carry detection risk, names the signals behind every flag, and suggests rewrites the writer can accept, edit, or ignore. Fixing is built into the same tool, and the human stays in control of every word. The detection model is also benchmarked in public: results are on the RAID leaderboard with a 0.5% false positive rate on real human writing, so the accuracy claims are independently verifiable rather than self-reported.
GPTypo's answer
Three reasons. Actionability: most detectors stop at a score, while GPTypo shows which lines triggered it and helps fix them without losing the writer's voice. Transparency: every flag comes with an explanation, and accuracy is verifiable on the public RAID benchmark. Independence: GPTypo is not owned by a company that also sells AI writing tools, so its only incentive is scoring text correctly. It is also better value than GPTZero ($18/mo vs $23.99/mo) with rewriting included rather than sold separately.
GPTypo's answer
People whose writing gets run through AI detectors by someone else. Freelance writers and copywriters proving their work to clients, journalists and editors, students and academics (ESL writers are misflagged most often), and job applicants whose cover letters get screened. The Team plan serves content agencies and teams that need batch scanning and API access.
GPTypo's answer
GPTypo started as a side project in late 2024 and was rebuilt from scratch after watching what AI detectors were doing to real writers: false accusations with no explanation and no recourse, hitting formal, polished, and ESL writing hardest. The 2026 relaunch settled on a human-in-the-loop design, showing writers how detectors read their work, explaining why each sentence was flagged, and letting them fix it line by line. Along the way GPTypo trained its own detection model and published its results on the public RAID leaderboard instead of self-reporting accuracy. As AI detection consolidates under companies that also sell AI writing tools, GPTypo remains independently operated.
GPTypo's answer
The app is built with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS, and runs on Vercel with a Postgres database and Stripe billing. Detection uses two engines: a transparent heuristic scanner that checks 100+ known AI-tell phrases and structural patterns and explains every flag, and GPTypo's own fine-tuned neural detection model for verified scoring, benchmarked publicly on RAID. Rewrite suggestions are generated by a frontier language model, constrained to preserve the writer's meaning and voice.

Based on our record, PythonAnywhere seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 55 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
The website is already built. Each comment will have a reddit post URL, and the bot should leave a comment on that URL. We can use pythonanywhere.com for this to make it easiest. Source: about 3 years ago
If you are learning, use pythonanywhere.com as they specialize in python, and make setup easy. Only $5 a month. Start with a barebones flask app, get it to run, then follow a tutorial. Actually better to build the app locally, easier to test with IDE like Pycharm. Then upload to the net. Source: about 3 years ago
Hello, I have a Minecraft server running on a Rpi with Paper. It works great and I use it to play with some of my friends. However, the server's public IP address often changes, meaning that I have to give my friends the new IP address daily. Being a programmer, I feel this could be automated. I don't want to buy a domain, so I want to try and setup a system where the server sends Its IP to my PythonAnywhere... Source: over 3 years ago
Hosting wise, I would reccomend pythonanywhere.com, combined with either https://imagekit.io or https://cloudinary.com. Source: over 3 years ago
So what is the best alternative? I have one Plotly Dash app on pythonanywhere.com where I spend 6 bucks a month so I don't want to spend anymore than 5 dollars per month on the PHP + MySQL. Source: over 3 years ago
