I believe Eleuther was much more selective what training data to use which is why they didn't need so many parameters. But is sounds like they're a pretty dedicated crew that will be working to make more open-source alternatives for ChatGPT for years to come. Ah, yes. I remember I did this with Emerson AI, only that I expanded Emerson AI's text with 6b.eleuther.ai, sent it to Blenderbot 3 so he can learn about the issue over time, then copy/pasted that into dall-E mini to generate the image. Source: over 3 years ago
