Google App Engine (GAE) -- the "OG" serverless platform that launched back in 2008 & somewhat modernized in 2018; uses customized, proprietary containers, free static file edge-caching, and generous outbound networking free tier. - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
Google App Engine - Google's fully managed platform for building scalable web and mobile backends. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
If Google App Engine (GAE) is the "OG" serverless platform, Cloud Run (GCR) is its logical successor, crafted for today's modern app-hosting needs. GAE was the 1st generation of Google serverless platforms. It has since been joined, about a decade later, by 2nd generation services, GCR and Cloud Functions (GCF). GCF is somewhat out-of-scope for this post so I'll cover that another time. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
As Windsales Inc. expands, it adopts a PaaS model to offload server and runtime management, allowing its developers and engineers to focus on code development and deployment. Instead of paying to download music, the users "pays" by following you across social media / streaming services. Granted it's mostly used for copyright-violating edits, but some musicians use it for original tracks too. It's how basically any electronic music... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
Set list. Make sure you have enough music to begin with. You are gonna want to try and get/buy .wavs or .aiff file types. MP3s are okay if they are good quality but don't rip your tunes off youtube/spotify with one of the converter sites, they sound like ass on a decent set of speakers. Look at sites like https://hypeddit.com they are free and you just need to link a SoundCloud account. Source: almost 3 years ago
Https://hypeddit.com/ - A lot of good bootlegs/remixes and packs. Source: over 3 years ago
If you mean non-professionally, just you personally trying to get a tune out there...SoundCloud with "free download" in the upload name so people can find it...you can either A) the in the Permissions enable direct download and B) in the Metadata include a "Buy Link", where the Title of the button is "FREE DOWNLOAD" and the link takes people off to hypeddit.com to actually download it. I'm unsure the in's and... Source: almost 4 years ago
