As always, I appreciate the work you do to share the information you share here. I, too, setup alerts for topics I'm interested in years ago, but figured I'd have a look at their alerts page nowadays. For starters, the google.com/alerts page is blank basically, so sending someone there could be confusing. Instead, be aware that you'll need a Gmail account to use alerts, or if using a non-gmail, it will prompt you... Source: about 3 years ago

The only thing you can do is ignore them, anything else is kicking the can down the road as you cannot meet their demands forever. You should run a virus scan on every device you use and implement unique passwords for each account + two factor authentication everywhere.
