Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing GitLab and LexiLab.app.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

LexiLab.app's answer:

  • Competitive Scrabble club members and tournament players
  • Daily Wordle and crossword puzzle enthusiasts
  • Global game players and learners across our 8 supported languages

What makes your product unique?

LexiLab.app's answer:

LexiLab is a collection of high-performance, static word-game utilities built with a "speed-first" priority. Unlike bloated alternatives, we use intelligent algorithms based on information theory and ranked word lists, as well as tournament-grade dictionaries (NWL23/CSW21) for Scrabble, all delivered through a clean, lightning-fast interface.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

LexiLab.app's answer:

The biggest difference is the quality and relevance of the answers you get. While many tools rely on generic or outdated lists, LexiLab uses official tournament-grade dictionaries and intelligent algorithms to find the highest-scoring and most relevant words available. We pair this accuracy with a clean interface and a lightweight architecture so that these results appear instantly, even on older mobile devices.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

LexiLab.app's answer:

Our audience includes everyone from casual daily puzzle fans looking to protect their Wordle streaks to competitive Scrabble club members who require professional-grade accuracy.

What's the story behind your product?

LexiLab.app's answer:

LexiLab was born out of a desire for a cleaner, smarter toolkit for word games. We found that most existing solvers were slow and lacked the specific competitive dictionaries required for high-level play, so we built a high-performance alternative focused on lightweight code and superior algorithms.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

LexiLab.app's answer:

LexiLab is built using a pure Vanilla JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 stack, intentionally avoiding frameworks like React or Vue to maintain an extremely lightweight footprint. We utilize Web Workers for CPU-heavy word-unscrambling and pattern-matching to ensure the UI remains perfectly responsive during complex calculations.
