Gigvault started in January 2025 as a solo project by Alexandra Pytel in Germany. The trigger was a simple question that turned out to be impossible to answer: how many times have I seen this band? Ticket stubs in a drawer, photos with no context, half a festival weekend nobody could reconstruct. The existing tools stopped at "attended" (setlist.fm) or pointed forward to upcoming shows (Bandsintown, Songkick). So Gigvault became the diary for what you already saw: log a show, the setlist and full lineup fill in automatically, openers and festival sets count as their own entries, and Concert Wrapped updates after every gig instead of once a year. It is still solo-built and self-funded, on iOS, Android and the web, in 13 languages, and concert logging has stayed free, unlimited and ad-free from day one.

React with Vite and TypeScript for the web app, Supabase (Postgres, auth, storage, edge functions) as the backend, Capacitor for the native iOS and Android apps from the same codebase, and Lovable for hosting.
