Yandex Images - the best reverse-image search there is. Drag an image in, then click "Similar Images". It's useful to filter down to certain sites by using the "On this site" filter and entering domains like gettyimages.com, listal.com, bellazon.com - I've found Yandex Reverse really useful for dropping similar looking images (like the Filipa ones or AI-generated ones) in, and finding potential candidates. Go on gettyimages.com and look at unedited pictures of any actress/model. They actually look that good. Sorry. Source: over 3 years ago
What do you suggest then? They could put a place holder there that says "Future Lord of the Rings project" with a gettyimages.com stamp on it and maybe a gif for the Avatar that shows Gandalf doing the saxophone meme dance... Source: almost 4 years ago
Gettyimages.com is the place if you ever need specific photos from a certain game, moment, player, etc. All of the big publishers you it. Source: about 4 years ago
For those wondering if the above comment is bs: go to gettyimages.com and search for the pic ID (the number on the bottom left part of the pics). The pics are dated May 28th 2022. Source: about 4 years ago
Funny that this pops up now, yesterday I was looking into using rss2email [1] and migrate all my RSS reading workflow inside mutt. This, among the other things, to reduce the daily (doom)scrolling and avoid the recommendation algorithms by social media. So: who or what do you follow via RSS feed, and why? - Source: Hacker News / 6 months ago
Tiny Tiny RSS is still awesome, twelve years later. It is super-easy to self-host: https://tt-rss.org/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I self-host Tiny Tiny RSS (https://tt-rss.org/). I think it will do everything you want (and more). The web UI is fine, and the Android app is great. I guess the only thing it doesn't have that a SaaS offering could do would be some sort of recommendation engine (which I have... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Ttrss (https://tt-rss.org/) self hosted. When Google Reader shut down I switch to feedly for a bit, don't remember now why but for some reason I didn't like it. So I started self hosting my own instance of ttrss and haven't looked back since. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
