Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Most tools in this space are built for the US (QuickBooks Self-Employed) or skewed toward agencies (Bonsai, FreshBooks). Nett is built for European freelancers and applies your country's specific tax rules out of the box. Modelo 130/303 in Spain, IRS in Portugal, Self Assessment in the UK, and so on.

It's iOS-first, runs OCR on-device, and doesn't connect to your bank. Your data stays in your iCloud.

And the focus isn't reporting what you spent. It's telling you what you can actually spend before you spend it, after tax reserves.

What's the story behind your product?

I'm a freelancer in Spain. For years I never trusted my bank balance because it didn't account for the taxes I owed. So I'd either underspend out of paranoia, or overspend and panic when the quarterly Modelo 130/303 came due.

I tried spreadsheets, accounting tools, even a gestor. Nothing told me the one number I wanted: how much I can actually spend today, after reserving for taxes.

So I built Nett. First for myself, then for freelancers across the EU and UK because the same problem exists in every country with its own twist.

iOS 17+ minimum. No backend of our own. Everything runs on-device or in the user's iCloud.

Typical user: a designer, developer, consultant or content creator with irregular monthly income who's tired of guessing how much of their bank balance is actually theirs after taxes, VAT and social contributions.
