Possible disadvantages

  • Limited information available
There is relatively little publicly available detail about the platform's specific features, pricing, and reliability, making it harder to evaluate thoroughly.
  • Data privacy concerns
Storing code and projects on a third-party cloud raises potential security and privacy considerations, especially for sensitive or proprietary projects.
  • Potential performance limitations
Cloud-based environments may experience latency or performance constraints compared to a powerful local development setup, depending on the service tier.
  • Vendor lock-in
Relying on a specific cloud platform may make it difficult to migrate projects elsewhere, creating dependency on the provider's continued operation and pricing.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing GBP Leads and CodeinCloud.

What makes your product unique?

GBP Leads's answer

GBP Leads is the only prospecting tool built around a private Data Vault. Every search pulls live Google Business Profile data — not a stale database — and banks the results so they accumulate over time. Agencies can refresh their Vault anytime to keep leads current, then filter, enrich, and export in minutes.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

GBP Leads's answer

Most lead tools sell access to static databases that were accurate when built and degraded ever since. GBP Leads pulls live data direct from Google Business Profiles every time, so agencies always prospect from current information. The Data Vault model means results stack over time rather than disappearing after each search — giving agencies a growing, refreshable asset they own.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

GBP Leads's answer

Marketing agency owners who sell local services — websites, SEO, reputation management, or social media — and need a consistent, repeatable way to find qualified local business prospects without manual research or buying burned-out contact lists.

What's the story behind your product?

GBP Leads's answer

I built GBP Leads out of pure frustration. As a marketing agency owner I was drowning in stale lead lists — businesses that had closed, phone numbers that didn't work, and contact data that was already outdated the moment I bought it. I was juggling dozens of CSV files, manually deduping thousands of rows, and still ending up with prospects that had no idea who I was calling or why.

The breaking point was realising the tools I was paying for were just glorified data scrapers selling me a snapshot of the world as it existed months ago. I didn't need another dump of stale data. I needed a system.

So I built the Data Vault. Every search pulls live Google Business Profile data — straight from the source, not a cached database. Every result banks to your Vault and stays there. You can refresh any business anytime to keep it current. You can filter and search everything you've ever collected in one place. No more CSV chaos. No more deduping. No more calling businesses that shut down two years ago.

The best part? The more leads you add to your Vault, the more valuable it becomes — just like your business. It's not a lead list. It's a growing asset that compounds over time and gets more powerful with every search you run.
