Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Gallerina.app and Thread Notes.

What makes your product unique?

Gallerina.app's answer

Gallerina is the only client proofing platform with a native Lightroom Classic plugin that syncs client selections directly back to your local catalog. Other platforms stop at the gallery โ€” they give you a CSV or a list of filenames, and you're on your own matching them. With Gallerina, your client submits their picks and you click one button to see them as color labels in Lightroom. The round trip from "client submitted" to "I'm editing" takes about 10 seconds.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Gallerina.app's answer

If you're tired of manually matching client selections after every shoot, Gallerina removes that step entirely. Platforms like Pixieset and Pic-Time handle the gallery side, but they don't talk to your local Lightroom catalog. Gallerina does. It's also lighter and more focused โ€” we don't try to be an all-in-one business suite. We do proofing and Lightroom sync, and we do it well. The free tier includes both, so there's nothing to lose by trying it.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Gallerina.app's answer

Wedding and event photographers who shoot high volumes. These are photographers delivering hundreds of photos per project who spend real time every week matching client selections back to their catalog. Portrait photographers and studio owners who want a clean client proofing experience also use it, but the Lightroom sync is what brings most people in.
