Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Galerra.art and Commit Art.

What's the story behind your product?

Galerra.art's answer

Galerra started as a passion project by a front-end developer who was frustrated with boring portfolios and static image walls. The idea:

โ€œWhat if anyone could build a 3D art gallery like in Blender, without needing to code or learn game engines?โ€

It began as a weekend prototype using React Three Fiber and quickly evolved into a full product. Now itโ€™s a growing platform for creators who want to stand out and own their visual space online.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Galerra.art's answer

  • Astro for the front-end framework and performance-first rendering.
  • React Three Fiber (R3F) for building the interactive 3D scenes.
  • Cloudflare R2 for media storage and delivery via CDN.
  • Cloudflare Workers/Functions for backend logic at the edge.
  • PocketBase for authentication and real-time database functionality.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Galerra.art's answer

  • Most competitors are either static portfolio websites or overly complex metaverse tools.
    • Galerra sits in the sweet spot: fast, beautiful, and powerful, without the bloat.
    • Instant publishing of 3D scenes no build steps, no Unity/WebGL headaches.
    • Social sharing with auto-generated preview cards (OG image per gallery).
    • Freemium model: users can try without commitment and upgrade only if they grow.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

    • No-code editor: Users can place, scale, and customize their own 3D galleries in a simple visual interface.
    • Blender-style controls: Artists feel right at home with familiar navigation and transformation tools.
    • Beautiful by default: Clean, minimal design inspired by high-end virtual exhibitions.
