Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing fxAPI and Ticker All.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Ticker All's answer:

TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js and React, PostgreSQL, Docker, WebSockets, and Stripe.

What makes your product unique?

Ticker All's answer:

TickerAll is a fully hosted MetaTrader 5 and MT4 broker API โ€” one service that covers both market data and live trading over REST + WebSocket, with no MetaTrader terminal and no EA bridge to run. Because the broker session lives on TickerAll's infrastructure, your code connects from any OS (Linux, macOS, Windows, containers, CI). It ships official Python and TypeScript SDKs and a first-party MCP server, so you can automate broker accounts from code โ€” or even from Claude โ€” in minutes.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Ticker All's answer:

It covers both MT5 and MT4 (not just one), and both reading data and placing trades, through a single clean API. There's no terminal to babysit and no OS lock-in, unlike self-hosted or Windows-only setups. It's developer-first โ€” open-source SDKs, an MCP server, transparent pricing, and a free demo tier so you can build before you pay โ€” with demo/live safety gating built in so you don't accidentally trade a funded account while testing. Provides connectors to TradingView, Telegram, Discord and generic Webhooks.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Ticker All's answer:

Algo traders and developers who build automated strategies and trading bots on MetaTrader brokers, and want to connect MT5/MT4 accounts from their own code โ€” on a server, a Mac, or in the cloud โ€” without running a terminal. Also fintech and quant developers who need programmatic broker access as infrastructure.

What's the story behind your product?

Ticker All's answer:

It started from a simple frustration: automating a MetaTrader account meant babysitting a Windows terminal โ€” or a fragile Wine/VPS workaround โ€” just to run a bot, with no clean way to connect from a Linux server or a Mac. So I built the hosted API I wanted: one that runs the MetaTrader side for you and exposes accounts, market data, and trading as plain REST + WebSocket, on any OS. It's grown from there into SDKs, a live web terminal, and an MCP server.
