Dalo Solids removes that step: snap a photo of what's in your fridge and it generates an age-appropriate recipe from what you already have, instead of sending you off to plan a shopping trip first. It builds on that with weekly meal plans that adapt to your baby's age and your family's own cuisine, and a barcode and image scanner that reads allergens and ingredients on packaged food in seconds. The core idea is turning "what do I feed my baby today" from a research task into something the app just answers for you.

Because it does more than tell you what's safe, it decides what to cook. Reference guides are great for looking things up, but they still leave you to plan meals and shop yourself. Dalo Solids closes that loop with recipe generation from ingredients you actually have and shopping lists built from the plan it creates. It also connects with Dalo Sleep and Dalo Milk Stash if you use them, so you can spot things like a food that consistently disrupts sleep instead of treating each app as its own island. And it's run by the same two-person founding team behind the whole Dalo Baby suite, which means support and updates come directly from people using it with their own kids.

It's part of the same origin as the rest of Dalo Baby. Founders Daniel and Adriana Lintoiu hit the start-of-solids stage with their own child and found the existing options were either static databases or generic advice that still left the daily "what do I cook" decision to them. Coming from digital product backgrounds, they built Dalo Solids to actually generate the answer, turning whatever's in the fridge into a real recipe, and grew it as a companion to Dalo Sleep and Dalo Milk Stash under the same Copenhagen-based studio.
