As answered by people managing Frihet.io and LinuxPatch.com.

What makes your product unique?

Frihet.io's answer

Frihet is the first AI-native ERP built from the ground up with intelligence at its core — not bolted on as an afterthought. What sets it apart:

  • 55+ AI copilot tools embedded across every module: auto-categorize expenses, generate invoices from natural language, smart tax suggestions, cash flow forecasting, and OCR document processing
  • Developer-first ecosystem: REST API, TypeScript SDK, CLI, and an MCP server with 55 tools — all published on npm. Build on top of Frihet, don't just use it
  • Deep EU tax compliance: VeriFactu, SII, EN16931 e-invoicing, IGIC/IVA/IRPF support across 365 fiscal positions in 123 countries
  • 17 languages natively — not machine-translated UI labels, but full localization including fiscal terminology
  • Full accounting engine included free: General Ledger, P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance, Chart of Accounts — no upsell required
  • 40-60% cheaper than alternatives like QuickBooks, or Xero, with a generous free-forever plan

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com stands out due to its comprehensive, user-friendly approach to Linux patch management. Unlike other tools, it offers one-click updates, AI-powered CVE reporting, and a unique autopilot feature that automates patching across multiple Linux distributions. The platform also supports server grouping for targeted updates, ensuring efficient management even in complex environments. Additionally, its health checks monitoring feature ensures that systems remain stable post-update, making it an ideal solution for businesses prioritizing security and operational efficiency.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Frihet.io's answer

If you're comparing Frihet QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools:

  • Price: Frihet's Pro plan is €19/mo and Free plan includes full accounting — most competitors gate it behind paid tiers
  • AI that actually works: 55+ tools integrated into your daily workflow. Competitors either have zero AI or charge extra for basic features
  • No vendor lock-in: Open API, SDK, CLI, and MCP server. Export everything, build custom integrations, automate with n8n or Zapier. Your data is yours
  • EU-first compliance: Built for European businesses from day one. VeriFactu, SII, EN16931, IGIC — not retrofitted US software with a VAT checkbox
  • People/HR included: Employee directory, time tracking (Art.35 ET compliant), leave management — all free. Competitors charge €5-8/employee/month for this
  • Speed: Keyboard-first interface, AI copilot, command palette. Built for people who value their time over clicking through wizards

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com offers a distinctive blend of simplicity and power that sets it apart from competitors. Its one-click updates and autopilot feature simplify patch management, while AI-powered CVE reporting ensures you’re always ahead of potential threats. The platform supports multiple Linux distributions and includes server grouping for targeted updates, making it versatile for different environments. Health checks post-update provide added peace of mind, ensuring your systems remain stable and secure. For businesses seeking efficiency and robust security, LinuxPatch.com is the clear choice.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Frihet.io's answer

Frihet serves modern businesses that want professional tools without enterprise complexity or pricing:

  • Freelancers and solopreneurs who need invoicing, expenses, and tax compliance in one place
  • Small and medium businesses (SMEs) that have outgrown spreadsheets but find SAP/Oracle absurd
  • Digital agencies and consultancies managing multiple clients, quotes, and recurring billing
  • E-commerce businesses using Stripe, Shopify, or WooCommerce who need integrated accounting
  • Startups that want a developer-friendly ERP with API access from day one
  • Developers and technical founders who appreciate CLI tools, MCP servers, and SDK access over clicking buttons

Our strongest fit is businesses operating in Europe (especially Spain) where tax compliance (VeriFactu, SII, IGIC, EN16931) is a hard requirement, not a nice-to-have. We support 30+ countries and 17 languages.

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

The primary audience for LinuxPatch.com consists of IT administrators, DevOps professionals, and security teams managing Linux-based servers and infrastructures. These individuals are responsible for maintaining system security, ensuring uptime, and managing patching processes across various Linux distributions. Businesses, especially those with complex or large-scale Linux environments, will find LinuxPatch.com particularly beneficial.

What's the story behind your product?

Frihet.io's answer

Frihet means "freedom" in Swedish. It was born out of frustration.

I'm Viktor Berthelius, a Swedish-Canarian builder based in Tenerife. After years helping businesses with branding, marketing, and technology, I kept running into the same problem: every ERP and invoicing tool I used was either too expensive, too rigid, or completely ignorant of European tax requirements.

So I built it. Frihet launched on February 13, 2026 — solo-founded, zero investors, bootstrapped from Tenerife. Within 6 weeks: 17 languages, 41 integrations, 55+ AI tools, full accounting engine, and an open developer ecosystem (API + SDK + CLI + MCP).

The goal is simple: EUR 1M ARR by 2027, serving 3,500+ businesses across 30+ countries. Not by competing on features, but by creating a new category — the AI-native ERP that makes business management feel effortless.

LinuxPatch.com's answer:

LinuxPatch.com was born out of a need for a more efficient and user-friendly solution to managing Linux patches across diverse environments. The founders, experienced in IT and cybersecurity, recognized the challenges organizations face in keeping their Linux systems up-to-date and secure. They aimed to create a tool that simplifies this process through automation, AI-powered vulnerability management, and an intuitive interface. Their goal was to empower IT teams to maintain robust security with minimal manual intervention, leading to the creation of LinuxPatch.com.
