Wizardly is an AI-first screen recorder that helps teams turn quick recordings into polished, customer-ready videos. With Wizardlyโs one-click Chrome extension, you simply record a video or workflow as you normally would, even in your native language, and Wizardly automatically generates a refined script and professional voice-over.
Unlike traditional screen recorders, Wizardly goes beyond โcapture and uploadโ: it removes filler words, cleans up phrasing, and can translate your recording into English (and 14 other languages) to make the final result sound clear and confident. You can then use the content editor to adjust the flow, rewrite sections of the script, and choose from multiple narration voices to match your brandโs tone.
Once ready, Wizardly videos can be exported, embedded, or shared via link, making them easy to distribute for support, customer enablement, sales, product and marketing.
What Wizardly solves for: * No need to write a script before recording yourself * No more bad takes and mistakes - Wizardly fixes the script automatically * Donโt worry about your accent or poor audio quality

WizardlyWizardly's answer:
1. One-Click Workflow Capture: Users simply click through a process, and Wizardly automatically records each step. No need for manual screenshots, copy-paste instructions, or separate screen recording tools.
2. Instant SOP & Video Generation: Wizardly converts captured workflows into both text-based SOPs and fully narrated video walkthroughs, complete with highlights, arrows, and step annotations.
3. AI-Powered Narration & Scripts: Instead of writing explanations, Wizardly auto-generates clear, natural-sounding voiceover plus step-by-step text instructions tailored for training and onboarding.
4. Multi-Format Knowledge Sharing: Content can be exported as videos, guides, or manuals, or embedded, making it easy for sales enablement, support, and customer success teams to distribute training across different channels.
5. Time-to-Value: Minutes, Not Hours: Traditional SOP and training manual creation can take hours or days. Wizardly reduces this to minutes, enabling teams to scale enablement without extra headcount.

Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. Start small and stay away from bootcamps (my 2 cents). - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
