TrueCert is a skills-verification platform built for developers and the teams that assess them. Instead of trusting a resume line or a years-old certificate, candidates take a short, practical assessment and earn a credential anyone can verify.
The assessments go beyond multiple choice. Ordering, matching, code-completion, and short-answer formats test whether someone can actually do the work, not just recognize a fact, and partial credit means a near-miss is scored fairly. Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something.
