Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. Have you tried asktrim.com? You send them the bill, they negotiate a better rate, you pay them 15% of the annual savings. And they'll keep coming back for more cuz it helps them too. They've renegoticated my cell bill 4 times in 2 years and saved me over $1,400, and charged me about $450.
