Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. In the last few days, I have been testing with Stable Diffusion's AI Image Generator (text-to-image) to create a futurebucket logo. For me as a beginner, I am quite satisfied with the results. Hey guys, I used to use this stable diffusion UI a lot (https://stablediffusionweb.com/). It used to be much simpler though, a single line for a prompt and would generate 4 images in usually 10 second. Source: almost 3 years ago
I got acquainted with stablediffusionweb.com and the Playground option it had back in May 2023 and made some good use of it from there to mid-July or so. Got busy, hadn't used it until late August, now I come back and see the Playground is a different thing entirely now that it's "Stable Diffusion XL 1.5" or something.
