Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. I'm pretty new to webscraping. I'm using selenium python to scrape sofascore.com for live sports scores. I'm only scraping one page (/favorites) and calling find_elements() about 15 times (I had planned for it to run every 30 seconds, but it could be less often if need be). Nothing too crazy here, but I took the match ratings from sofascore.com (https://www.sofascore.com/tournament/football/world/world-cup/16), and averaged out every team to see who was must-see tv and who, uh, wasn't.
