Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. I was using Windows and I tried all softwares and tools on the market from Loupedeck to LR2midi and settled with a big Monogram CC layout, over 600$ in sliders and buttons. However, I am working in Adobe 99% of the time. I have not spent much time with Command Post but I sense that it is a hill I have neither the time nor technical knowhow to climb. So I'm curious if there's anything else out there that is close to the feel and has inertia like the Speed Editor, that is easy to work with/has some low level integration with Premiere.
