Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something. Okay, it's a little drawn-out, but here's what I did. We're a Google Classroom school, so I can't block Google.com, or else I can't use Classroom, Docs, Slides, etc. So no matter how many times I use a "Blocked Websites list" Scene to monitor my class and keep them from totallymath.com, abcya.com, etc, the kids could still play Snake, PacMan, and all the other Google Doodle games instead of doing their work.
