I used to have a greater need for a file manager in other jobs. I donโt have the same need anymore but Forklift (https://binarynights.com/) has always been great and I still use it from time to time. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
I use Forklift instead : https://binarynights.com/ I can use it as an orthodox file manager. I also like using it to access remote filesystems over nfs and sftp, and also S3 buckets. It also works well with Dropbox and iCloud. There is a great sync feature to keep source and target directories synchronised. It's also good for diffing directories at a glance. I wholly agree with you on this one. Windows has its fair share of issues, but Windows Explorer feels like peak file browsing to me. For MacOS I can recommend Forklift [0]. Best part? Itโs standard Postgres. Any tool that speaks Postgres can connect, TablePlus, Retool, Cloudflare Hyperdrive, pgAdmin, even other ORMs. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
If you want something sleeker than DBeaver, TablePlus is a beautiful database client. Its free tier is limited but plenty for small dev projects. - Source: dev.to / 12 months ago
For simpler use-cases I've used both https://dataflare.app/ and https://tableplus.com/ with success. They are much quicker and lighter to start-up, browse some tables and run some queries. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
