I do most of my "git"ing on the command line, but sometimes I need a graphical user interface (GUI) to really understand what's going on. When I need that, I reach for Fork. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
Finally, I didn't mention source code control. That topic is very personal to people. I don't tend to use my IDE for managing Git. I like to use something external that gives me a "best-in-breed" solution. That tool for me is Fork. I've shared this tool before, but never in an article. An option I don't see often brought up but I use it myself and love it is https://github.com/theonedev/onedev. It has its own CICD implementation along with a visual interface to configure the tasks. The developers are very responsive when issues are reported, and it has a very good code search engine with symbol recognition. Source: about 1 year ago

Since some comments are talking about alternatives, I'll leave this here: https://github.com/theonedev/onedev I found out about it on a previous HN thread. It can do automation, one of the missing points from Gitea. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
