Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Focana.app's answer

Most focus tools either block apps you need or disappear when you switch tabs/apps. Neither works...You need an anchor, not a blocker.

What makes your product unique?

Focana.app's answer

Focana's uniqueness lies in the always-on-top and nudge/check-in features. By ensuring your task, timer and notepad are always visible, Focana takes on the "out of sight out of mind" challenge, head on. Gentle visual animations and periodic check-ins keep you focused on your task at and and/or bring your focus back.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Focana.app's answer

Focana started as an ADHD helper, and expanded, by request, to anyone who frequently finds themselves feeling scattered, frustrated and distracted while working on their computer...especially if you've tried multiple "productivity" tools. Because your challenge is focus not productivity, and blocking notifications doesn't hold back racing thoughts. You need a dedicated focus buddy, a digital body double.

What's the story behind your product?

Focana.app's answer

Focana was built by a founder with ADHD who spent years feeling like he failed at his career because he couldn't control your attention, hyperfocus, and burnout cycles. He tried seemingly all the productivity apps on the market and every one of them had the same fatal flaw...they disappeared the moment you switched tabs. Out of sight, out of mind. So he built the thing that didn't exist: a focus tool that stays visible no matter what.
