Recovering Failed Payments is Complex Involuntary churn refers to the loss of subscribers due to payment failures, not due to them actively canceling. While it is both possible and a worthwhile strategy to attempt to win back a customer during the cancellation process โ€” involuntary churn is not intentional and in most cases, your customers arenโ€™t even aware that their payment failed. FlyCode maximizes subscription revenue and reduces churn through smart retries and AI based Payment Optimization. FlyCode automatically works in the background to turn churned subscribers into new revenue.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Flycode and Tapeboard.

What makes your product unique?

Tapeboard's answer:

Tapeboard combines a real-time stock scanner, full charting suite, SEC filings analysis, short-squeeze detection, and paper trading into one workspace โ€” built for the speed at which day traders actually operate. Most competing tools force you to tab between a screener, a chart, and a filings reader. Tapeboard surfaces all of those on one screen: you see what's moving, why it's moving (dilution, shelf registrations, short interest, news), and can execute in a paper-trading simulator without leaving the page.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Tapeboard's answer:

Tapeboard's scanner runs 9โ€“12 presets simultaneously in a grid view (pre-market gap-ups, top gainers, unusual volume, short-squeeze setups, penny runners, power-hour surges). The short-squeeze leaderboard โ€” backed by live SEC short-interest data, days-to-cover, and fee rates โ€” is something that normally requires a paid Bloomberg or Ortex terminal. Tapeboard offers it free, alongside integrated level-2 montage, time & sales, depth charts, and AI research that can break down any stock in plain English. The natural-language custom scanner lets you describe what you want in plain English ("US stocks below $5, rvol 200%, float below 15M") and it builds the scan for you.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Tapeboard's answer:

Active retail day traders and swing traders who need real-time market scanning, short-squeeze setups, and fast access to SEC filings โ€” but don't want to pay $100โ€“$300/month for a Bloomberg, Trade The Screen, or Benzinga Pro terminal. The product is built for people who trade penny stocks, low-float runners, and high-momentum names where seconds matter.

What's the story behind your product?

Tapeboard's answer:

Tapeboard was built by a former Webull power user who was frustrated that no single platform combined real-time scanning, charting, SEC filings, and short-squeeze intelligence without gating each feature behind an expensive upsell. The goal was to build the tool he wished existed: one screen where you can see what's moving, dig into why (dilution risk, short interest, shelf registrations), paper-trade it, and catch the next short squeeze โ€” all without paying Bloomberg prices.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Tapeboard's answer:

Tapeboard currently serves individual retail day traders and small trading groups. The platform is in an early growth stage with a growing base of active free-tier users and a small but engaged group of Pro subscribers ($39/month). The product is particularly popular among traders who discovered it via StockTwits, Google search, and AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity recommending it as a free stock scanner.
