Flowesce is a complete, all-in-one platform for solo and growing beauty and wellness businesses: hair and nail salons, lash and brow studios, medspas, and massage and spa practices. It brings the whole operation into one place that works as one system: online booking on your own page and subdomain, inventory that deducts product automatically as you complete services (with batch-expiry tracking), packages, gift cards and store credit, promotions, a unified waitlist, memberships and loyalty, team logins with role-based permissions, email marketing and automated journeys, reviews and referrals, and full reporting.

Because everything lives together, Flowesce can show you whether you actually made money, not just what you rang up. Product cost flows into an owner-readable profit and loss as you work, alongside expenses, tips, and tax, so your real profit is mostly worked out for you, no accountant required.

Pricing is flat and predictable: $29/mo (Solo) or $79/mo (Growth), with no per-staff fee and no commission on the bookings you bring in. Priced in USD, SGD, and MYR. Start with a 14-day free trial, no card required.

Alterable adds real-time, open-time content to email campaigns, no coding, no ESP integration, no resends. Every asset is a single image URL that renders fresh the moment a subscriber opens the message, not the moment you hit send.

Countdown timers count down live in the inbox. Choose a fixed deadline for your whole list, an evergreen timer that starts when each subscriber opens, or a per-recipient deadline pulled from a merge tag. Ten visual styles, full color and font control.

Dynamic images show a different visual to every recipient based on location, device, language, weather, temperature, or time of day. A no-code rules builder stacks conditions and maps each combination to its own image variation.

Dynamic products pull live price, stock, and availability at the moment an email opens. Sold-out items hide automatically; low-stock items get a scarcity badge. Sync via CSV, REST API, or a Shopify/BigCommerce connection.

Local maps show each subscriber their nearest store, rendered around their location at open-time. Four map styles, custom markers, and deep links to native navigation apps.

Surveys put a one-click star, number, or emoji rating directly in the email body, no landing page, no login. Results populate a live dashboard as votes arrive.

Scratchers turn a discount into a game: a scratch-card reveal linking to a hosted prize page, with customizable cover art, reveal animations, and (on Pro) multiple weighted prizes.

Every asset works the same way: build it in Alterable's editor, copy one image tag, paste it into any ESP. Because it's just an image, it works in every major email client, no JavaScript or AMP required. Integrates with 50+ platforms including Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, Brevo, ActiveCampaign, Constant Contact, GetResponse, AWeber, and Kit.

Also included: 22-language localization, timezone support, real-time analytics, CDN delivery, and REST API access. Free to start, no credit card required.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Flowesce and Alterable.

What makes your product unique?

Flowesce's answer

What makes Flowesce unique is that it uses genuine all-in-one depth to show you whether you actually made money, not just what you rang up. Because booking, inventory, and expenses live in one system, the product used during a service deducts itself and its cost flows straight into an owner-readable profit and loss, so you see real profit without an accountant or a second app. It is built for solo and growing salons, priced flat with no per-staff fee, and works in USD, SGD, and MYR.

Alterable's answer:

Most tools in this space (NiftyImages, Sendtric, MotionMail, CountdownMail) do one thing well, usually just countdown timers. Alterable is a single platform for six distinct open-time content types, timers, dynamic images, live product data, geo-targeted maps, surveys, and scratch-card rewards, all rendered the same way: one image tag, no ESP integration, no JavaScript.

That "just an image" approach is also what makes it universal: it works in every major email client without exception, since there's nothing for Outlook or Gmail to selectively support or block.

The rules engine is shared across all six content types too. The same conditions (location, weather, device, time of day, stock level) that pick a dynamic image can pick a product, a map location, or a timer variant, so teams build a targeting logic once and reuse it everywhere instead of learning a separate tool per feature.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Flowesce's answer

A few honest reasons:

  • Flat, predictable pricing at $29 or $79 a month, with no per-staff fee and no commission on the bookings you bring in.
  • All-in-one operations depth at a solo-friendly price, the kind the premium suites charge well over $100 a month for, without the enterprise price tag.
  • Inventory that deducts product as you work, with batch-expiry tracking, and its cost flowing into a real profit and loss.
  • Multi-currency (USD, SGD, MYR) and built with Singapore and Malaysia in mind, not only the US.
  • It is small and moves fast, and every feature request is read by the person building it.

Flowesce is the complete, well-built option for an owner who wants real depth without the enterprise price.

Alterable's answer:

Against single-purpose timer tools (Sendtric, CountdownMail, MotionMail, CountingDownTo): those platforms do one thing, a countdown widget. Alterable includes countdown timers plus dynamic images, live product data, geo-targeted maps, surveys, and scratch cards, on one account, with one shared rules engine. If a team outgrows "just a timer," there's no second tool to adopt.

Against broader personalization platforms (NiftyImages, Movable Ink): Alterable is free to start with no credit card, and every asset is a plain image tag rather than requiring a native ESP integration or account connection. That keeps setup to minutes and means it works identically across Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, GetResponse, or any of 50+ platforms, with no per-ESP configuration to maintain.

Because it's "just an image": there's no JavaScript, no AMP, no interactive-email fallback logic to write or test. It renders the same way in Outlook as it does in Gmail, which is where more elaborate interactive approaches usually break first.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Flowesce's answer

Solo and growing beauty and wellness businesses: hair and nail salons, lash and brow studios, medspas, and massage and spa practices, anywhere from one chair to a small multi-location shop. The typical owner runs the place themselves and is juggling a booking app, a spreadsheet or QuickBooks, and a separate inventory list. Flowesce is built for them, not for large enterprise franchises. Singapore and Malaysia are the initial focus, with the United States as a parallel and growing market.

What's the story behind your product?

Flowesce's answer

Flowesce was built by a salon owner. What started it was the repetitive, manual side of running the place: asking every client for the same details before a visit, resending the same aftercare, following up one by one. I wanted the all-in-one I wished I had, so I built it. The most powerful thing it turned out to do was show me whether I had actually made money, not just what I had rung up. That became the heart of Flowesce: everything a salon runs on in one place, plus the numbers that tell you if it is working. I know this pain because I lived it.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Flowesce's answer

Flowesce is a modern web application built with Next.js and React (TypeScript), styled with Tailwind CSS, on a PostgreSQL database via Supabase. Payments run on Stripe, email on Resend, and the app is hosted on Vercel. It is cloud-based and works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, and phone.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Flowesce's answer

Leave this one blank. Flowesce launched publicly in July 2026 and is still building its founding cohort, so there are no customers to list yet. Naming customers you don't have (or naming real ones without permission) is a credibility and trust risk, and this answer is public and shows on comparison pages. Skip it now and come back once you have a few happy founding members who agree to be named.
