You might want to try https://easyengine.io. You can install it on any unmanaged VPS you can get your hands on, and you can run it locally if you want to do some local development too. It’s basically a turnkey Wordpress stack and comes with some nice features like server side caching (full page caching + object caching - which caches stuff from the database in RAM - both backed by redis which it sets up for you too).
