OrmFactory is built with C# and .NET 8, using Avalonia UI for its cross-platform desktop interface. It runs natively on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with x64 and ARM64 builds. Native AOT is used for the desktop application, with performance and low resource usage being important design goals.

OrmFactory exists because I wanted to build the database tool I actually wanted to use. I make tools because that's what I know how to do โ I wrote my first one for the ZX Spectrum back in 1997.

We build Fillout for just this type of reason. If you store the list of countries in Airtable, SmartSuite, HubSpot, Monday, Notion etc. You can have the options automatically sync to your Fillout form (you can't with Google Sheets currently but you can with all those other platforms). Checkout fillout.com they are on top of it over there. And you and read, write, and update existing records. I haven't seen another form do that. Source: about 3 years ago
