Freelancers end up holding their clients' digital assets. The domain is in your registrar account, on your card. You made the Google Workspace because someone had to. The DNS is in your Cloudflare. None of it is a problem until the client needs it and you are travelling, ill, or simply unreachable.
Everkey is the written-down version. It keeps a registry per client — domains, hosting, DNS, email, SaaS, analytics, repositories — recording who owns each one, whether ownership has actually transferred or is only intended, when it renews, and where the credential lives. It scores how ready each client is for a handover, warns you before a renewal, and produces a one-page continuity pack the client opens with no account and uses to recover their own access without you.
It stores no passwords. There are no password or secret columns in the database — Everkey records a pointer to where a credential lives, never the credential. It sits alongside your password manager rather than replacing it.
Free for three clients, no card. Solo is $12/month.

I've been looking around for a selfhosted tool where you can add domains on monitor. When the domain get available it should notify me by mail or something so I can buy it myself or for a client. I've found something kinda like this but I don't find any options to monitor domain availability. Https://domainmod.org/. Source: over 4 years ago

First, our website has also undergone a complete redesign. After we redesigned DomainMOD we felt that the website seemed a bit dated, so of course that had to be redone as well. We're also going to be working on a complete redesign of our User Guide, so stay tuned for that. Source: about 5 years ago
