At the national level that may be true but it does not seem to be that way at the state level. Many of the states listed on e-verify.gov's site are politcally red. Further digging showed that all nine states that require ALL businesses to use E-Verify are "red" states and many of those that have local (county/city) ordinances that require E-Verify are "red" states. In any case, can I just submit the employer name as it is listed on e-verify.gov since I don't have a number? I have worked for this company for 9 mo now, so I should be able to extend, no? Source: over 3 years ago
I'm not sure on the details of how it's done ... But it certainly is done :) Honestly, the library/libraries used are kinda moot - those things change all the time (ie, it doesn't matter if it's OpenCV or something else) Most government-issued IDs are intentionally designed to be very hard to OCR (it's why they have barcodes/etc on them for automated scanning) - and any advances in image processing... - Source: Hacker News / almost 5 years ago
I have learned to pay attention to what men say and always consider the opposite. One time that involved someone giving me their phone number and telling me they were safe. My spidey senses went off so off to arrests.org I went, and he had a recent scary charge. Source: almost 3 years ago
Arrests.org is a site to see criminal records for somebody in any state, and it even has a reverse image search built in to it(you have to click on a state and it shows up in the menu bar). Source: almost 3 years ago
My opinion on this topic has also been goofed up by obsessively looking at arrests.org when I see someone arrested that has shot or killed someone in Hampton Roads. So many of them have been arrested for violent crimes in the past and yet are out on the street doing it again the next year. No rehab, no programs, no jail, just back on the street. Did you try arrests.org and mugshots.com ? And arrestfacts , they have a search that includes results from all 50 states. And on arrests.org you can pick from all the states. Source: almost 4 years ago
Look on the national sex offender registry. Next, do a basic internet search for their name. Then, go to the official county court system website of the county they live in and see if you can search public records or court cases on there. Also, check arrests.org for potential mugshots with arrest info. You can also do a basic internet search using their phone number and any usernames that you know for them. Source: almost 4 years ago
