The Zero-pi works when using Enjoyable: https://yukkurigames.com/enjoyable/ - but I have to manually configure the buttons whenever I want to play a new game. I don't want to do that. Source: about 3 years ago
I've tried Gamepad Mapper, JoyMapper Silicone, Enjoyable and a few others and can't seem to find basic controller button remapping (swap A/B for example). The above apps are working fine to remap controller buttons with keyboard/mouse buttons on the Mac but don't seem to have options for what I'm looking for. Source: over 3 years ago
If RetroArch doesn't recognize it or respond in any way, you may need to use something like 'enjoyable' to make it send keyboard events: https://yukkurigames.com/enjoyable/. Source: over 3 years ago
