How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

The primary audience breaks into three groups:

  • Social media creators making memes, reaction images, and story cards for Reddit, Discord, Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok. The Meme and Chat bubble styles are built specifically for this workflow — quick exports, transparent backgrounds, platform-optimized crop presets.

  • Indie comic artists and hobbyists who want dialogue bubbles on their panels without paying for Clip Studio Paint or wrestling with Photoshop layers. The Classic, Thought, Shout, Whisper, and Anime styles cover the full comic panel vocabulary, and the comic bubble generator page adds six panel layouts for multi-panel pages.

  • Product designers and storytellers prototyping chat interfaces, fake iMessage conversations, and UI mockups. The fake text message generator with dark mode and group chat support was built specifically for this use case — it exports pixel-accurate iPhone screenshots at 1170×2532 physical resolution.

SpeechBubble.studio's answer:

I needed to add a speech bubble to a photo for a group chat joke. Every free tool I tried either watermarked the image, demanded a signup before exporting, or produced a blurry, low-resolution result that looked nothing like a real comic bubble. So I built the one I wanted to use — a tool that gets out of your way: open the page, upload a photo, pick a style, type your text, download. No signup. No watermark. Full resolution.

It started as a single speech bubble maker and grew from user requests. Someone asked for a meme format with a cropped reaction bubble — that became the speech bubble meme generator. Someone else wanted to make fake iMessage screenshots for a storyboard — that became the fake text message generator with dark mode, group chat, and both iMessage and SMS bubble styles. The comic bubble generator with panel layouts came from an artist who wanted to skip Photoshop for quick drafts.

The entire tool was built and is maintained by one person. Every feature came from a real user asking for it. That is why the tool does not feel like a product roadmap — it feels like a collection of things people actually needed.
