It sits on top, handling the parts that are genuinely hard to build yourself: per-tenant data isolation (row-level security), your branding instead of the BI vendor's, single sign-on through whatever your customers already use to log in, short-lived signed tokens instead of long-lived credentials, TLS 1.3/AES-256 in transit, and an immutable audit log you can pipe into your own SIEM.

It's multi-vendor — it embeds the BI tool you already use (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or Metabase) instead of making you rebuild dashboards in a new visualization layer. It's flat-rate, not per-seat, so cost doesn't scale with how many external viewers you're serving.
