We built EditDocx because document editing should be fast, free, and private. Most online word processors force you to sign in and send files to the cloud โ€” even for a five-minute edit. EditDocx takes a different approach: open a tab, drop in your .docx, edit locally, and download when done. It is powered by docx-editor, an open-source browser-native DOCX engine, and deployed as a static web app so your content never touches our servers.
