Game server hosting, solved. Edgegap is a game server orchestration and managed infrastructure platform for multiplayer games. You push a container; Edgegap deploys a dedicated server just-in-time, in the location closest to the players in that specific match — no regions to pick, no SDK to...
Most engineering teams run AI coding agents on individual laptops. Close the lid, lose the session. When a new developer joins, they spend hours recreating the same setup. CloudCLI gives your team shared cloud environments where AI agents run 24/7. Every developer gets their own isolated...

As answered by people managing Edgegap and CloudCLI.
Edgegap's answer
Edgegap orchestrates the world's largest edge network to deploy, on demand, your game server to 615+ locations worldwide. Which directly reduces latency of your multiplayer by 58% on average. It scales with your game's success, up to 14M CCU in 60 minutes. Best of all, it innovative "pay-per-use" means you only pay when players play your game - ensuring you never pay for wasted capacity during development or as your playerbase fluctuates.
CloudCLI's answer:
CloudCLI is one of the only cloud development environments built specifically for AI coding agents. Where Codespaces and Gitpod give you a cloud editor, CloudCLI gives your agents a persistent home that stays alive 24/7. What makes it particularly valuable for teams: shared MCP servers and environment configs mean every developer starts from the same baseline. A full REST API means sessions can be triggered from automation tools, not just opened manually. Background agents can run overnight and produce PRs for review in the morning. And the entire platform is open source (AGPL-3) so teams can self-host on their own infrastructure.
Edgegap's answer
Multiplayer game developers seeking a convenient, powerful and cost-effective solution for authoritative servers ("dedicated servers") hosting & orchestration, relays, or the world's first matchmaking system with latency-based rules.
CloudCLI's answer:
CloudCLI is built for engineering teams that use AI coding agents as part of their daily workflow. This includes teams adopting agentic development practices with tools like Claude Code, Cursor CLI, or Codex who need shared environments where MCP servers, context files, and configurations stay consistent across every developer. It also serves engineering managers looking to integrate AI agents into existing workflows through API-driven automation with tools like Linear, Jira, and n8n. Solo developers and open-source contributors who want persistent remote access from any device are also a core audience, along with organizations that need to self-host for data sovereignty or regulatory compliance.

As someone with 20 years of telecom experience, Mathieu Duperré had seen countless industry trends come and go – but edge computing felt different. He saw its bold approach to latency reduction as the next frontier in gaming tech, so he pitched his employer to explore it further.
They humored him initially, but within a few months, the initiative was canned. The company didn’t feel that the gaming market was large or promising enough. Fortunately, their skepticism didn’t deter Mathieu. He knew he had lightning in a bottle, so there was only one thing left to do: quit his long-standing corporate gig to follow his passion.
The first order of business was to research industry conferences. One event in Berlin looked promising, but he was going completely out-of-pocket with zero funding and no product. It was both pricey and risky, with a ton of downside and a shred of potential upside. To earn a free pass, Mathieu jumped on the opportunity to join the event’s hackathon.
Within two weeks, he was onstage in front of the biggest names in the game, presenting the prototype he had pulled out of thin air.
The result? First prize.
Mathieu was immediately swarmed by execs asking to test his product, which didn’t exist yet. Upon touching down in Montreal, he got straight to work renting a small office, hiring 2 engineers for a prototype and started plugging away.
One year later, they had landed a seed round.
Now, more than 5 years later, the team is composed of various departments and colleagues, building the future of edge computing infrastructure!
CloudCLI's answer:
CloudCLI started as an open-source project to solve a problem every developer using AI coding agents hits: your agent ties up your terminal and stops working when your laptop sleeps. We built a cloud-native environment where agents run persistently, paired with an open-source web UI so anyone could manage sessions from a browser or phone. As teams started adopting it, the focus shifted to shared environments, where team-wide MCP servers, configurations, and context files could be maintained in one place instead of duplicated across every developer's machine. The project grew to 9,000+ GitHub stars organically with no marketing. Today CloudCLI offers both a free self-hosted option and a managed cloud service starting at €7/month.
