AuctionMethod’s primary audience consists of professional auctioneers, AuctionMethod serves auction businesses across estate liquidation, farm and heavy equipment, industrial surplus, salvage and recycling, non-profits, retail liquidation, corporate surplus, real estate, auto, arts and collectibles, and businesses that conduct recurring or high-value auctions and want full control over their online auction presence. These users often have established operations and are looking for a customizable, white-labeled platform that aligns with their brand and internal processes.

What's the story behind your product?

AuctionMethod's answer:

AuctionMethod started as a family auction business. When we made the shift from traditional to digital events more than twenty years ago, we ran into the same wall every auctioneer hits: the software didn't fit. Invoicing, payments, bidder communication, post-sale reporting — nothing handled it the way an actual auction operation needs it handled. So in 2012, we built our own solution. Not to start a software company, but because we needed a platform that could scale and adapt the way our business did. What we built for ourselves turned out to be what the industry had been missing. AuctionMethod is still run by people who have worked in the auction world — not developers who studied it from the outside. That history is why the platform works the way it does, and why we build every feature around what auctioneers actually need to run and grow their businesses.

    First thing is get off the app. It's terrible for anything but basic selling functions. Open a browser and go to to ebay there. Best if you can use a computer or tablet for that, but it's doable on a phone even. Source: almost 3 years ago
