EasyEDA
FoundationEasyEDA is recommended for electronics hobbyists, students, educators, startup engineers, and small businesses focused on rapid prototyping and cost-effective PCB design. It's also ideal for collaborative projects that benefit from cloud-based tools.
Based on our record, EasyEDA should be more popular than Foundation. It has been mentiond 44 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
As a hobbyist, I have had a good experience using EasyEDA [0]. It's free to use, with the caveat that you are pretty locked in to their PCB ordering service from China. However, pricing is crazy good, like <$50 total for 5 PCB's (although there will be tariffs). Regarding your mental model, it's more like a 2-step process. First, you draw the netlist, which is the electrical circuit diagram. It's this stage you... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago

a bunch of pcb manfacturing places have their own layout software which may or may not suite your needs. E.g. JLCPCB is a very good board manufacturer (and cheap to boot), and their EasyEDA software looks sane. Digikey has SnapEDA etc. Source: about 3 years ago
It depends how good your electronics are or whether you're willing to invest time into learning PCB design. The capacitor's values can be found using an LCR meter, it will be a bit fiddly and you'll want to remove them from the flex PCB before testing. LCR meter can be picked up cheap on Amazon. Looks like a relatively simple circuit too, so you can trace it out quite easily. Then just measure up the PCB and you... Source: about 3 years ago
There are lots of free tools out there, but I would suggest EasyEDA. Backed by JLCPCB, one of the best PCB makers in China, you could design your schematic and PCB and then have JLCPCB make the circuit boards for you. Everything is online and free, with lots of support. Source: over 3 years ago

Here is a thought you might want to consider and see if it makes sense. This is personal, but I also believe this is where design codes (especially CSS) are going to go. It is not going to be Tailwind or more new frameworks. Honestly, I think all of these Bootstrap, Foundation, and Tailwind, etc. Are like middle-layer abstractions are for designs that are neither small nor large. Bootstrap won because of the... - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
Foundation is another popular open-source front-end framework, similar to Bootstrap, but with its own set of features and design principles. It was created by ZURB a design and development company in 2011. And is also maintained by a community of developers. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
