The idea was a site that does the opposite: answer first, explanation underneath, nothing between you and the tool. Once the first few calculators existed, the client-side-only approach became the guiding constraint — no server means no data to leak and no reason to ask anyone to sign in. It's built and maintained by one person, and stays free.
