As answered by people managing DUMMY DATABASE and Statusfield.
DUMMY DATABASE's answer
A free, all-in-one data generation platform that builds everything from simple tables to full relational databases with advanced controls, unique event sequences, ERD visualization, built-in SQL querying, and multiple export formats — no limits, no paywalls.
Statusfield's answer:
Many critical services like Cloudflare have zero notification options, and AWS has no push alerts. Statusfield fills that gap — aggregating 7,000+ services (147,000+ components) and alerting you through Slack, Discord, Telegram, PagerDuty, Email, or Webhooks. Component-level filtering lets you subscribe to just GitHub Actions instead of all of GitHub, or only us-east-1 instead of every AWS region.
DUMMY DATABASE's answer
Unlike other data generators, DUMMY DATABASE gives you full relational database creation, unique event simulations, advanced control over every field, built-in SQL querying, and generous free limits — so you can go from idea to test-ready data without restrictions, subscriptions, or hidden fees
Statusfield's answer:
Statusfield watches 7,000+ vendors' status pages in one place and tells you the moment one breaks — including the ones that have no notifications of their own. Cloudflare doesn't send alerts. AWS has no push alerts. If you depend on 15–20 services, subscribing to each one yourself is where alert fatigue starts.
Component-level filtering. Subscribe to "GitHub Actions" instead of all of GitHub, or us-east-1 instead of every AWS region, so you get the alerts that affect you and not the rest.
Alerts where you already work. Slack, Discord, Telegram, PagerDuty, Microsoft Teams, email and webhooks, plus a REST API and an MCP server so AI agents can check vendor status before blaming your own code. Unlimited notifications on every plan, including the $5 one.
Compliance evidence you don't assemble by hand. The Team plan generates SOC 2 (CC9.2) and ISO 27001 (A.5.22) vendor-monitoring evidence with shareable auditor reports, so the control is already documented when the auditor asks.
Every plan starts with a 30-day trial, no credit card.
DUMMY DATABASE's answer
Statusfield's answer:
MSPs managing dependency status across many clients; IT & operations teams; DevOps engineers and SaaS founders who depend on third-party services (AWS, Stripe, GitHub) and need to know when something breaks before their users report it; and compliance/security teams who need vendor-monitoring evidence for SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
DUMMY DATABASE's answer
Began as a project for myself to be able to have custom datasets for testing purpose I've decided that it could be useful for wider audience and finalized it as a full-stack web project
Statusfield's answer:
Built out of frustration with debugging production issues that turned out to be third-party outages. After wasting hours troubleshooting code only to discover Cloudflare was down, I realized there was no simple way to monitor all your dependencies in one place with consistent, actionable alerts. So I built one.
