DropThis came out of a simple frustration: people act in the moment, but "link in bio" makes them dig through a profile, and most never do. The goal was to answer every commenter instantly, while the post is still fresh, without the overhead of a full chatbot platform. We also run DropThis on our own Instagram, so every demo doubles as both the product and the marketing.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

DropThis is built on the official Instagram Graph API, which is how it reads comments and sends DMs. Messages are only sent in response to someone commenting your keyword, never unsolicited, which keeps it within Instagram's rules.
