  • Managed to get Windows XP on my 2010 Windows 7 laptop. Everything except hibernation works perfectly!
    Check out driverpacks.net and make sure you have the latest chipset drivers. Make sure you have the latest BIOS, go in, and enable ACPI (I think?) if it's off or set to something weird. Might fix hibernation. Source: over 4 years ago
