Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Does.qa and AutomationCodeless.

What makes your product unique?

Does.qa's answer

DoesQA simplifies test creation and improves reliability while keeping the tester in control. With unlimited concurrency as standard there's no faster way to create or run your tests.

AutomationCodeless's answer:

AutomationCodeless is a no-code platform that connects REST APIs, databases, cloud services, JavaScript, and AI models in a single workflow, without writing a single line of code.

Most tools only cover one piece. AutomationCodeless lets you call an API, validate the database result, check an AWS service, pass data to an AI model, and assert the output, all in one flow with full visibility into every step.

The real differentiator is the AI assistant. You describe what you want to test in plain English and it generates the steps for you. You review them, click Run, and watch each step execute in real time. Everything runs locally through a lightweight agent, so your credentials never leave your infrastructure.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Does.qa's answer

DoesQA is the only solution which supports branching tests, API requests and Lighthouse Audits. DoesQA was built by experienced SDETs to make testing simpler, faster and more cost-effective while allowing all the power which comes with a traditional code-based solution.

AutomationCodeless's answer:

One tool instead of five. Postman handles APIs, but you still need separate tools for databases, cloud services, and assertions. AutomationCodeless does REST APIs, databases, AWS, OpenAI, JavaScript, assertions, and variables in one place. No code required. QA engineers, business analysts, and product owners who are not developers can build and run real tests without scripting. AI step generation. Describe the test in plain English and the steps are built for you, so you go from idea to a passing test in minutes. Full visibility. Every step reports its status, duration, and result, so you can see exactly what ran, how long it took, and whether it passed, without adding manual logging. Credentials stay yours. Everything runs locally through a lightweight agent, so sensitive data never leaves your own infrastructure.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Does.qa's answer

Engineering teams who want powerful web end-to-end automation tests without the costs typically associated with building a test framework and running tests remotely.

AutomationCodeless's answer:

AutomationCodeless is built for teams that need to test across APIs, databases, and cloud services but do not want to maintain brittle scripts or juggle multiple tools.

That includes QA engineers who want faster, lower-maintenance automation, along with business analysts and product owners who are not developers and have historically been locked out of automation entirely. It also fits developers and DevOps teams who want a single workflow to validate an API, confirm the database result, and check a cloud service in one run.

In short, anyone who needs to automate and validate a business process or workflow, whether or not they can write code.

What's the story behind your product?

Does.qa's answer

Everyone's endlessly wasting money building their own test framework.

AutomationCodeless's answer:

I have been in enterprise software development for over 23 years, working across full stack development, cloud architecture, and DevOps in Java, Node.js, React, and AWS, with AWS certifications in Solutions Architecture and DevOps Engineering.

Across financial services, healthcare, and large enterprise systems, the same problem kept coming up. Testing across APIs, databases, and cloud services required too many tools, too much scripting knowledge, and too much maintenance. QA engineers, business analysts, and product owners who were not developers were completely stuck, because there was no tool that understood plain language, generated steps automatically, and executed exactly what you asked without writing code.

There was also no single place to call an API, validate the database result, check the AWS service, pass data to an AI model, and assert the output, all in one workflow with full visibility into every step. I built AutomationCodeless to solve exactly that.
