I used Docusaurus to host my documentation website. Although it used mdx (based on React) while the rest of my website was using Svelte, there just wasn't a solution that worked nearly as well out of the box. There I made some basic tutorials and wrote documentation for the API. - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
If you use a doc-as-code tool like VitePress, Asciidoctor, or Docusaurus, you can render CSV files as HTML tables at build time — either natively or through a custom plugin. Most tools support CSV includes out of the box or with minimal effort, and any AI assistant can generate the glue code for your specific stack in seconds. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
There's no shortage of documentation tools out there, and honestly, that can make the decision harder rather than easier. After working with various clients and our own projects here at Digital Speed, we've found ourselves reaching for a handful of tools repeatedly: Docusaurus, VuePress, Redocly, and Fumadocs. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
Docusaurus is a popular choice for developer-first documentation, especially for teams that prefer Git-based workflows and static site generation. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
Docusaurus gives you complete control. It's open-source, React-based, and incredibly flexible. The trade-off? You're essentially maintaining a website. For a solo technical writer at a startup, that overhead wasn't something I could justify. - Source: dev.to / 8 months ago
This is good - I previously used Buffalo https://gobuffalo.io/ at my startup, but eventually decided to move off it. Go doesn't seem like the kind of language that could support a framework like rails (it's safety takes away from the flexibility). Would love to see how this turns out though! Great work. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Maybe https://gobuffalo.io/en/ is the closest one, 🤔. Source: over 4 years ago
There's nothing like Django for Go, I believe the closest would be Buffalo, typically when building backends in Go you pick and choose a combination of standard library packages and third party packages to build your services. Source: almost 5 years ago
These seem to be a way to embed all files to one executeable binary. Similar for Windows is https://github.com/sudachen/Molebox Others: - C/C++ has linker to link all to one binary - CLI/webserver only https://github.com/jart/cosmopolitan like https://redbean.dev . Same exe works on many x64 OS like Windows/macOS/Linux/BSD, it embeds .zip file and can read/write to embedded .zip on the fly. - AppImage... - Source: Hacker News / almost 5 years ago
If you want to build a website with Go, first of you don't need nginx or caddy. Go's standard library web server is fantastic. One thing I find with Go is that because it's powerful enough to build a great web server, memory cache, or database, you can solve problems at a lower level. This is something I personally find really fun. If you want a full-on web formwork experience checkout https://gobuffalo.io/en/.... Source: almost 5 years ago
