  1. A never before seen way of running a saas demo

    Disclaimer: I'm the creator

We had another product had low conversion because of complex flows involved. The usability suffered as well and we had to "hand hold" a lot of users who showed interest in using the product. So we decided to automated some of our usual responses and realized this was a great way for users to self serve through the complexities and didn't involve heavily rethinking UI/UX design decisions.

Well just view the demo for yourself and if you're still not convinced just run an A/B test and confirm the jump in conversion yourself!

The letter misses out the key issue here. Should the worlds public knowledge be enclosed by a few powerful private companies or should it be available to all? The original vision for the web was a decentralized, open information sharing space designed to empower humanity. In my view the effort to privatise that via LLM distillation is the antithesis of that vision.... - Source: Hacker News / about 12 hours ago

  • Jane Street: Incremental
It depends on how you define the observable pattern. The fundamental components here are laziness and weak connections between graph nodes. Node values are getting materialized only when you observe them, and the system is flexible for live structural changes. Usually, you don't need to materialize the entire graph when you need to observe just some nodes. Additionally, you can halt computations at any point in... - Source: Hacker News / 7 days ago
