We use Kotlin Multiplatform and Compose Multiplatform as the main technologies for KAppMaker for both shared code and UI. Additionally, we use tools like GitHub Actions for deployment and Firebase for authentication and push notifications along with KMPAuth and KMPNotifier libraries. Some boilerplates do offer some choices - usually around the front end, which tends to be a manageable piece to bite off.
