DiskRaptor's answer
Many existing disk analyzers feel outdated, visually dated, or limited to a single operating system. DiskRaptor takes a modern approach: a fast, clean Tauri-based desktop application with a high-performance scanning engine and true multi-OS support for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
DiskRaptor combines modern design, speed, and cross-platform compatibility in one lightweight application. It gives users a contemporary alternative to older disk analyzers without sacrificing performance or functionality.
DiskRaptor's answer
DiskRaptor is primarily aimed at Windows, macOS, and Linux users who want a fast, modern, and easy-to-use way to understand and manage their disk space.
It is especially useful for power users, developers, IT professionals, and anyone with large or cluttered drives who wants a modern alternative to older or visually outdated disk analyzers.
DiskRaptor's answer
I have been developing software since 1999, working on different projects and technologies for more than 25 years. DiskRaptor grew out of my desire to create a disk analyzer that is not only powerful and fast, but also modern, clean, and available across multiple operating systems.
After years of development experience, I finally feel that I have created a product that brings everything together: DiskRaptor is the product I have always wanted to build — fast, modern, cross-platform, and ready for everyday users.
DiskRaptor's answer
DiskRaptor is built primarily with Rust and Tauri. Rust powers the high-performance scanning engine, while Tauri provides the lightweight, modern cross-platform desktop application framework.
Together, they enable DiskRaptor to deliver native-level performance, low resource usage, and support for Windows, macOS, and Linux from a modern cross-platform architecture.
