I found Disk Catalog Maker but it's not free. I also found VVV (Virtual Volumes View), which seems to be FOSS. I may try VVV. This is something I never thought to do but may be handy. Source: about 3 years ago
DiskCatalogMaker works alright and is for OS X. Paid proprietary software, though, which sucks. Source: over 3 years ago
