A lot of communities use [Discourse ](https://discourse.org). [LPSF](https://forum lpsf.org) migrated to it when Yahoo Groups was discontinued. My friend and colleague is finishing her thesis in the moment. As part of this thesis she needed to conduct around a dozen hour-long interviews, then transcribe them to text and do some analysis of it (all in German language).
