Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Discipline Rewards and CodeinCloud.

What makes your product unique?

Discipline Rewards's answer

D/R is built around follow-through, not just tracking. It combines daily commitments, habits, goals, accountability partners, squads, and reporting in one system designed to answer a simple question: did you do what you said you were going to do?

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Discipline Rewards's answer

Choose D/R if you want more than a habit checklist. It gives you a structured way to make commitments, measure consistency, involve an accountability partner or squad, and see your follow-through over time. The goal is to help turn intentions into repeatable action.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Discipline Rewards's answer

People who want to become more consistent with the commitments that matter to them. D/R can be used for health, fitness, career, personal goals, routines, faith, or any area where someone wants more structure and accountability.

What's the story behind your product?

Discipline Rewards's answer

D/R started as a piece of paper.

For years, founder Frank Mesa tracked his habits, workouts, goals, and daily commitments by hand. Every month he printed a new sheet, marked off what he completed, and kept refining the system.

Eventually he realized the real value wasn’t the tracking itself. It was having a simple way to answer: “Did I do what I said I was going to do today?”

Discipline Rewards is the digital version of that personal accountability system.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Discipline Rewards's answer

D/R is built with React Native and Expo for mobile, Supabase for backend services and authentication, Vercel for web deployment, Stripe for web payments, and Resend for transactional email. Codex by OpenAI has also been a core part of the development workflow.
