The app automatically transfers money without user initiation, which might be uncomfortable for those who prefer to have complete control over their finances.
  • Connectivity Issues
Users have reported occasional connectivity issues with their bank accounts, which can disrupt the automatic saving process.
  • Limited Bank Compatibility
Digit may not be compatible with all banks, which could limit its usability for some potential users.

As a relatively lesser-known fintech app, Vant may not have the same level of trust, community support, or third-party reviews compared to more established competitors like Mint or YNAB.
  • Potential Feature Limitations
Compared to more mature financial management platforms, Vant may lack some advanced features such as robust investment tracking, tax planning tools, or deep customization options.
  • Limited Integrations
The app may not support connections to all banks, credit unions, or financial institutions, which could limit its usefulness for users with accounts at smaller or regional institutions.
  • Dependence on Internet Connectivity
As a cloud-based application, Vant requires a reliable internet connection to function properly, which can be inconvenient for users in areas with poor connectivity.
  • Uncertain Long-Term Viability
Being a smaller or newer fintech company, there may be concerns about the app's long-term sustainability, ongoing development, and continued support compared to products backed by larger corporations.

Has anyone thought about using Digit's bank account? Seems like it has a lot of similar features to One/Simple. I'm definitely intrigued! https://digit.co/. Source: over 4 years ago
  • Wealthfront adds "Cash Categories", very similar to Goals and Safe-to-Spend
Also, just want to point out for anyone else who's reading that I'm not sure how well this would work for microbudgeting — e.g. gas, food, power bill, etc. — feels like that would be tedious to use with this UI. For me, I'm just setting aside rent, an emergency fund, credit card payments, and "fun money" so they're separate from my main balance. It's more like Digit than YNAB. Source: over 5 years ago
